Terms & Conditions - the basics

• Charges for sitting are done on a per day basis and over stays are charged at the same rate 

• Bookings are secured by a 50%  deposit, with the remaining balance to be paid before the sitting. Refunds at at the discretion of Claws n Paws.

• Any information gathered during the time of stay will not be passed on to any third parties without the express permission of the owners with the exception of an animal welfare issue.

• information stored will be secured in either paper or digital form in compliance with the GDPR regulations.

• The owner grants permission for the sitter to use amenities such as the Wifi, kitchen, bathroom and living/sleeping area during stay as part of the sitting agreement. 

• The owner will provide their pets with sufficient food and medication to cover the agreed length of stay plus 2 days minimum in case of emergency overstay 

• The owner must supply leads harness and collars as needed by the pet for the use of the sitter.

• In the event that your listed veterinarian is unavailable, or that by traveling to them will cause your pet further pain or suffering you consent to the use of another veterinarian in an emergency situation.

• If you the owner is unable to be contacted you give consent for your emergency contact to act on your behalf without further contact to you.

• We will try to contact you the owner, or failing that your emergency contact, for authorization prior to any treatment, but reserve the right to institute veterinary treatment if no contact can be made or your animal is in distress or discomfort.

• Any and all veterinary costs or treatments will be the sole responsibility of you the owner and you agree to reimburse Paws n Claws pet sitting services the full amount. 

• Should we become unable to provide sitting services due to unforeseen circumstances during the stay, we will contact you the owner or your emergency contact. to inform you of the situation and arrange alternative care for the remainder of the stay.  If this is not possible to then you the owner agree to me making other arrangements to ensure the welfare and well-being of your pet/pets.

• Whilst we make every effort to ensure the health and well being of your pet/pets in our care, will not accept responsibility for injury or death except in the cases of neglect, mistreatment or negligence on our part.

• We will  make every effort to ensure your property is in the condition we find it,  we not will accept responsibility for damage or destruction unless cause by our neglect, misuse or negligence.  

• Any emergency repairs needed during the stay will remain the responsibility of the householder unless caused by our neglect or negligence.
